Are you a Contract CNC Machinist looking for weekend shifts?
Immediate Starts.
We are currently recruiting for one of the UK's largest Defence Organisations and require CNC Machinists - both CNC Millers & CNC Turners.
You will be required to set and operate CNC Machines.
Reading and comprehending engineering drawings to ensure machined parts
Setting up and operating CNC milling machines and lathes, retrieving and inputting CNC programs from the network as per the appropriate paperwork.
Selecting suitable tools, equipment, and materials for machining preparation
Measuring, examining, and visually inspecting components to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments such as micrometres and verniers according to drawing specifications.
These are contract positions working 12 hour days Friday, Saturday & Sundays.
Rates of pay
PAYE = £23.65 p/hr x 36 hours = £851.40 per week
Umbrella = £30.57 p/hr x 36 hours = £1100.52 per week
