Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Basildon, Essex
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 7am – 4pm (Friday early finish)
My client who is a leading facility services company is seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their dynamic team based in Basildon, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to work in an office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems and equipment.
* Conduct inspections to identify and resolve potential issues before they escalate.
* Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of systems.
* Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
Requirements:
* Qualified to a minimum of Level 2 in Mechanical (or related) + F-Gas
* Proven experience as a Mechanical / HVAC Engineer or similar role.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical & AC systems and equipment.
* Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively.
* Valid driver's license (Preferred)
