Our client is an established independent packaging manufacturer who has at its core huge green credentials, with a mission to eradicate plastics from e-commerce packaging.They themselves lead the way – they are the world’s first and only zero-carbon packaging manufacturer, on their way to NET-ZERO.
With over 60 years of manufacturing experience, our client provides FSC certified, eco-friendly, and plastic free environmentally conscious packaging supplies to some of the world’s largest retailers.
The are looking to add to their team an experienced production planner - someone who can adapt to changing priorities whilst maintaining efficiency with high levels of quality.
As Production Planner you will be responsible for:
• Developing and managing detailed production schedules to meet customer demands and maximize machine efficiency
• Monitoring production processes and adjust schedules as needed
• Collaborating with various departments to ensure timely delivery of products
• Implementing and overseeing inventory and supply chain strategies to prevent shortages and excesses
Key attributes required:
• Proven experience as a Production Planner/Estimator or similar role, within the packaging industry
• Experience of working with card/paperboard packaging machinery desirable
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication abilities, with proficiency in managing multiple tasks
• Familiarity with production scheduling and inventory management systems: ideally Shuttleworth, RopeWeaver or PrintFlo
