Senior Accountant

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our expanding Finance team. As an important member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, conducting analysis, and leading process improvement projects. This is an excellent chance to collaborate with an outstanding team on diverse and engaging initiatives!
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Assist with monthly accounting close processes, including preparation and review of journal entries and account reconciliations
Support monthly customer invoicing process (creation, review, and send out of invoices)
Assist with company cash activities (vendor payments, customer cash receipts, bank account monitoring and reconciliations)
Assist with maintaining customer and vendor records, and updating information and responding to inquiries as needed
Monitor and analyze accounting data
Produce and review financial reports
Utilize and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
Work with auditors and tax preparers to issue annual audited financial statements and required tax filings
Assist with sales tax calculations, payments, and records
Requirements
Experience/Training/Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or related field
3+ years of experience working in Accounting or Finance
CPA and/or public accounting experience preferred
 
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Intermediate or better skills in MS Office (emphasis on Excel)
Proven knowledge and application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
High attention to detail and accuracy
Solid communication and organizational skills
Strong research, problem solving, and analytical skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced, detail-oriented work environment
Knowledge of NetSuite accounting software preferred
