Internal Sales & Applications Engineer
Permanent, Worcester - located in a brand new state of the art facility!
Up to £40,000 per annum, plus company benefits.
Our client designs and manufactures innovative engine, e-motor, power train, vehicle, and component systems and supplies their products across the World. Due to their continued success they have moved to a state-of-the-art facility in Worcester, delivering high-performance solutions to the clients across the World!
We are looking for an Internal Sales Applications Engineer to play a crucial role in building the gap between the engineering expertise and their clients' needs. Your technical sales skills will be vital in promoting company products, providing technical support, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the preparation of sales documentation, including quotes and contracts to meet client needs
Provide technical support and product information to customers and sales representatives
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and potential challenges
Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals to clients
Liaise with engineering teams to ensure customer requirements are met
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our product offerings and industry developments
Qualifications:
Strong technically minded person with HNC/HND qualifications in an engineering/ industrial environment
Proven experience in a sales or technical support role, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing industry
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good IT skills including MS software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
