Search² is delighted to have been exclusively retained by an award-winning civil engineering and construction firm looking to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor to join their business.

What you will be doing
* Understand, interpret & implement the companies H&S policy, procedures and mgmt systems.
* Keeping Directors, Managers, site staff and sub-contractors safe through providing advice, guidance & legislative updates to employees and sub-contractors alike
* Ensuring company compliance with legislation
* Ensuring that the impactful messages that you give to people remain adhered to, ongoing engagement of safe practices
* Provide H&S inductions for new employees and sub-contractors
* Method statements, risk assessments, safe plan of actions, permit to work.
* Conducting regular inspections and site audits, reporting findings to company management. Following up on corrective actions.
* Incident reporting
* Maintaining registers, records, monthly reports
* Toolbox Talks
What you will need
* NEBOSH General / Construction Certificate
* To be located within a commutable distance of West Midlands
* Suitable experience of operating in a similar H&S Advisor / Manager role within a Civils / Construction environment
