Job Title: HVAC Engineer for Local Authority Projects

Location: Wolverhampton

Salary: £40,000 per annum + Vehicle + Overtime

My client is a leading M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) contractor specialising in providing innovative solutions for various projects. With a focus on quality and efficiency, we have built a reputation for excellence in the industry. We are currently seeking a skilled HVAC Engineer to join our team and work on local authority projects for the council. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with relevant qualifications and a passion for delivering high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

* Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems for local authority projects in accordance with industry standards and regulations.

* Conduct inspections, troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary repairs or replacements to ensure optimal system performance.

* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to coordinate project activities and meet project deadlines.

* Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and apprentices as needed.

* Comply with health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.

Requirements:

* Relevant qualifications in HVAC engineering or a related field.

* Proven experience working as an HVAC engineer, preferably in a similar role within the construction industry.

* Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

* Full driving license.
