Supply Teacher

Smile Education are working with a secondary school in Stafford seeking a supply teacher to support throughout their daily timetable. As a Supply Teacher, you must carry out pre-planned lessons when teaching staff are absent. Whilst doing this, you must ensure that pupils are supported when needed, engaged in the classwork and good behaviour is maintained.

General cover is required, however if you are a supply teacher with subject specialism, the school can do their best to use your skills and knowledge within these lessons. This role is available to start as soon as, with opportunities available in September too! Whether you are available now, or from September , full time or part time, please do get in touch!

The expected pay rate for the role is between £150-£240 per day depending on experience.
Requirements for this role in Stafford:

Teaching/ classroom experience
Strong behaviour management skills
QTS/ degree level of education
The ability to keep pupils engaged throughout the lesson/day
