Warehouse Operative

InstaStaff are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our client based in Acocks Green, Birmingham.
Due to expansion, our leading distrubition company are looking to add an additional person to their team. Someone who can offer an efficient and high quality service to all customers.
Duties of the Warehouse Operation
* Load and unload trucks, vans and containers in line H&S procedures.
* Accurately checking in goods against delivery notes for accuracy and damages.
* Moving goods to the correct area in the warehouse, either manually or using mechanical equipment.
* Quality inspection of products / final check before being despatched.
* Examine/inspect products to ensure packing specifications are met before being despatched.
* Notify the relevant department of any short shipments/mis-picks/damaged goods. received or incorrect labelling.
* Ensure all stock movements & locations are accurately recorded.
* Assist with regular and spot stock takes as required.
* Undertake FLT duties as required.
* Stacking of boxes and pallets in specified areas.
* Ensure all external and internal areas are kept clean/tidy and are safely maintained.
* Book daily courier deliveries on the system.
* Correctly pick customer orders as per company processes.
* Despatch outgoing orders in line with company processes.
The ideal Warehouse Operative
* Must have previous experience working within a warehouse environment.
* Reach or Counterbalance license (preferred, however not essential).
* Must be physically fit due to nature of the role.
* Order picking experience required.
The hours of the Warehouse Operatie
* Monday to Thursday (Apply online only).
* Friday (Apply online only).
