HGV C+E Class 1 Driver’s Required Day & Night work available
Wright Staff are currently looking for experienced HGV C+E Class 1 drivers for new contract.
The opportunity – Wright Staff are proud to represent a large well known frozen food distribution company located near Sheldon Birmingham
Our client is looking for HGV C+E Class 1 drivers to work alongside their own team, & offering some temporary to permanent positions to good reliable candidates,
9 X HGV C+E Class 1 positions available.
The Job – The perfect candidate will be expected to drive HGV C+E Class 1 vehicle with refrigerated split ambiant & frozen trailer with tale lift. The trucks are all reasonably new and are kept in like new condition. Delivery is made using an electric pallet truck and tale lift so, handball is required on this job.
You will be expected to unload both pallets and cages, also on delivery you will collect any return cages.
Shift length can be long but are in keeping with the law and normal start times are 0can be early 04:00am / 05:00am for days & 13:00 / 17:00pm for nights are common start times.
Monday to Friday
Days £15 per hour PAYE only
Nights £16 per hour PAYE only
Weekends / Bank Holiday £17 per hour PAYE
** NO Limited company contractors **
You will require.
* UK HGV C+E Class 1 driving licence, held for 2 for insurance purposes.
* Valid UK CPC card
* Valid UK Digi Card
Minimum experience, training or qualifications required: Drivers must have their category C Licence with no more than 3 points with no TT’s, IN’s, TS, DR, or DD codes showing. You must have a valid UK Digi Card and Full CPC. They also must be physically fit and happy to deal with the public.
