Eden Brown have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join the team in Birmingham.
University Hospital of Birmingham are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist that has Acute dysphagia experience.
This post would suit an established band 6 looking to further develop their specialist skills in an acute environment or a suitably experienced band 5, looking for the next opportunity in your career as a development post. The successful applicant will have a good level of experience working in an adult acute and managing a dysphagia caseload.
You will possess excellent communication skills, demonstrate the ability to work flexibly and have a good understanding of MDT working.
The position will involve delivering specialist assessment, management, and treatment for acute inpatients with both communication and swallowing difficulties.
You will work closely with colleagues in the wider multi-disciplinary team and alongside experienced clinicians benefiting from expert knowledge and skills to support your own development, including instrumental assessment.
