Are you a passionate and dedicated leader looking to make a difference in the lives of young people? We're seeking a skilled Registered Manager to oversee an impressive 6-bed property for 3 young people in Milton Keynes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Take full managerial responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the children's home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are provided.
* Lead and motivate a team of care staff, providing guidance, supervision, and support to promote a nurturing and safe environment for residents.
* Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to the needs and aspirations of each young person, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
* Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and procedures, ensuring adherence to statutory requirements and Ofsted regulations.
* Foster positive relationships with residents, families, external agencies, and the local community to promote well-being and positive outcomes.
* Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of staff members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Registered Manager within children's residential care settings, with a proven track record of effective leadership and management.
* A genuine passion for working with young people and a commitment to providing person-centred care and support.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and external stakeholders.
* Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solution-focused approach to challenges.
* Relevant qualifications in social care or a related field (e.g., Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care).
