Clinical Psychologist

We are looking for a Band 7 Clinical Psychologist to join our Complex Health Needs Service (CHNS) in Bath and North East Somerset!

You will receive AfC Terms & Conditions and the successful applicant will also receive a £2000 welcome bonus!

As a Band 7 Clinical Psychologist, you'll be crucial in our specialised psychology service, transforming lives through tailored support for complex cases, including those with communication disabilities.

Main responsibilities:

* Provision specialist psychological services for adults with learning disabilities and or a diagnosis of autism in the community

* Use advanced theoretical and practical knowledge to provide a range of specialist assessment and intervention

* Use a range of psychological skills to respond to clients who have limited understanding and communication disabilities, and who may be distressed, anxious or resistant to engage in the therapeutic process.

* Work within a positive behaviour support framework; drawing upon Applied Behavioural Analysis to formulate support plans and risk assessments

* Plan workloads including prioritizing cases in terms of urgency and risk
