About The Role
Play a key role in a thriving and award-winning team within a leading civil and infrastructure company. You'll be the estimating specialist, working collaboratively to deliver high-quality project estimates.
Location: Hybrid - primarily Kent office (1 day/week), with flexibility to work from the London office 2 days/week.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and finalize project estimates exceeding £1 million in value.
* Collaborate with senior estimators and other departments to ensure project viability.
* Manage stakeholder expectations throughout the estimating process.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimating practices within the team.
* Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in construction estimating.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Minimum 2-3 years of experience in construction estimating.
* Strong understanding of civil engineering principles is preferred.
* Experience working on a variety of construction projects is a plus.
* Data centre construction experience is a bonus.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills for successful collaboration.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
