JOB DESCRIPTION: SEN Tutor

Job Duties:

Provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Develop and implement individualised education plans.
Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to meet the diverse needs of students.
Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support student development.

Required Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience working with students with SEN.
Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions.

Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is required.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role working with SEN students.

Knowledge and Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to individual student needs.
Knowledge of current SEN legislation and best practises.

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional certifications in SEN education.
Experience with assistive technology for SEN students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
