£16.60ph + overtime, shift allowances

These are all words that spring to mind when looking for a CNC machinist for our client in the Bolton area. You will be able to set and operate Lathes and Milling machines using a variety of programs such as Fanuc or Siemens. Our client uses Doosan, Colchester, Haas and Samsung machinery.
The ideal candidate will have experience from sectors such as aerospace, marine, oil and gas and construction and you will be looking for a role where you will be working a rotation of shift (6-2/2-10/10-6).
As a CNC machinist you will be able to read engineering drawings and be able to quality check your own parts to ensure right-first time quality.
You will be started on day shifts for the first few weeks but once you've got your feet under the table you'll be expected to take evening and night shifts as required.
The pay and benefits on offer are competitive. They offer pay X1.3 and 1.5 depending on the shift, and double time for Sunday working.
