Full job description

Job Purpose:

An experienced Manufacturing Engineer with practice of developing and implementing New Products and general business improvements to maximise production, profitability and customer service within an Aerospace manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable history working as a manufacturing engineer, ideally in an Aerospace environment or other regulated industry as well as excellent communication skills. The role requires a self motivated individual who is able to work both in a team, but also on a sole project and can make effective decisions to maximise production effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

Compile Work Instructions and Travellers
Create Process Flow Plans
Support production operations
Train operators on new processes
Take part in NCR & MRB activities
Ensure close out of relevant RCCA, supporting production
Review Specifications
To support the Engineering Manager in various tasks

Manufacturing Engineering is a support activity to production operations, this role will be a mix of office and shopfloor based.People

Experience in Aerospace or other regulated Engineering environment Essential
Experience within Composite Manufacturing Highly Desirable
Degree/HNC Engineering and/or Equivalent professional qualification Desirable
Experience with continuous improvement techniques Essential
Computer literate (MS Office proficient) EssentialJob Types: Full-time, Permanent
