CNC Turner

Due to a large increase in workload, we are currently recruiting a number of CNC Turners to join our prestigious client in Glasgow on a permanent basis.
The business are highly regarded as leaders in the design, manufacture, supply and service of equipment rotating equipment to a variety of industries including Nuclear, Oil and Gas and Power Generation.
Successful candidates will be time-served to ensure that jobs are manufactured in accordance with supplied technical drawings, specifications and required quality standards.
Candidates will be required to Set and Operate a number of different CNC Lathes, /Vertical Milling machines using Fanuc controls to produce components from a range of materials including 316 Stainless, Mild Steel, Brass and other exotics.
Candidates with experience using Mazatrols or Siemens controls would also be considered.

All OT paid at premium rates - X1.5 Mon - Fri / x 1.66 Sat/Sun
Job Description :
* Programme / Edit, set and Operate CNC Lathes using Fanuc controls machining both fabricated and cast components to fine tolerances
* Aid where required in the fitting department
* Overhead crane operating experience
Candidate Required Skills
* Time-served with demonstrable experience programming, setting and operating CNC Lathes working to very tight tolerances.
* The ability to read, understand and work to engineering drawings.
* Experienced Programming, Setting and Operating using Fanuc, Mazatrol or Siemens controls
* Must have experience working on a range of materials including 316 Stainless, Inconel, Brass and other exotic materials
