Our client is actively seeking an experienced Engineer to join their team and focus on the design, development, and certification of aerospace firmware. Ideal candidates will have a background in aerospace engineering, specifically knowledge of flight control systems and remote sensing applications. Required Qualifications:
A Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Proficient in hardware description languages such as Verilog or VHDL.
Proven experience in algorithm development, data structure design, and software testing methodologies.
Hands-on experience with board-level testing, troubleshooting, and the integration of hardware/software systems.
Familiarity with FPGA development tools and simulation techniques.
You have demonstrated ability to work both collaboratively within a team and independently.
Candidates must be eligible to obtain a national security clearance.
Desired Qualifications:
Software engineering skills, particularly in Unix/Linux operating systems.
Experience with cross-compiling for different hardware targets.
Knowledge in capturing and validating system requirements.
Understanding of military standard processor cores and the implementation of DSP algorithms in microcontrollers and FPGAs.
Experience with aerospace industry-standard interfaces such as ARINC-429 and MIL-STD-1553.
Security Clearance:
Eligibility to access classified information is a requirement; therefore, U.S. Citizenship may be necessary.
