Service Care Legal are recruiting on behalf of a London Borough Council who are recruiting for a Senior Contracts Lawyer to join their team on a contract basis. Please find below further details.
ROLE: Senior Contracts Lawyer
LOCATION: North London
RATE: £50.00 to £55.00 per hour
CONTRACT: 3 months with possibility of extension
Please note that this role would be hybrid working, with 2 days per week in the office.
The Role of the Senior Contracts Lawyer
To manage a full caseload of complex Contracts & Procurement Law matters through to completion
Matters will include the procurement of goods, works and services, state aid/subsidy control and funding agreements
Cases will also include TUPE issues, drafting and advising on a range of bespoke contract documents, construction contracts, local authority governance, including clearing of internal report The Person
A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with a minimum of 2 years PQE with a current practising certificate
Experience of public procurement law within a public sector organisation would be highly desirable
