Hse Advisor

EHS Advisor – Data Centre – Haarlem, Netherlands

We are currently partnering with a multi-disciplinary engineering services contractor specialising in Pharmaceuticals, Data Centres, Power Transmission and distribution. Due to their continued success, they are seeking a EHS Advisor to join and grow with their team in Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to Company Safety Management System, Environmental Health & Safety statutory provisions, and relevant legislation.

• Develop and maintain Construction Stage Plans, method statements, risk assessments, Safe Plans of Action, and H&S permits to work.

• Monitor compliance with Project Execution Plans and ensure the implementation of Good Safety Practices across the organization.

• Assist accident investigations and communicate reports promptly to the project management team.

• Conduct ongoing C.O.S.H.H assessments and manage the control of hazardous substances.

• Perform regular site audits and inspections, document findings, and follow up on corrective actions.

• Ensure that safety interventions are completed and documented.

• Maintain and manage records of statutory inspections and ensure they are available for project activities, tools, and equipment.

• Take a proactive approach to project EHS requirements and ensure sub-contractors adhere to company EHS policies and procedures.

• Compile and deliver toolbox talks as needed.

• Maintain up-to-date Safety File documentation

Requirements

* Relevant third level degree qualification in Environmental, Health & Safety

* 3+ years’ experience on large construction sites (Data Centres would be a significant advantage)

* Thorough knowledge of current environmental, health and safety legislation

* Ability to efficiently manage all environmental, health and safety issues on site.

Benefits

€65,000-€75,000 + Full rotational package
