Qualifications:
Proven Leadership in Tech Startups: Demonstrated success as a CTO and Co-founder, with experience leading startups through various growth phases. This includes not just technical leadership but also strategic decision-making, securing funding, product development from concept to launch, and scaling technology to meet growing demands.
Technical Expertise and Innovation: A solid technical background in software engineering or a related field, with a history of innovation. This could be evidenced by patents, the development of new technologies, or significant contributions to open-source projects.
Exceptional Track Record as an Individual Contributor: Beyond leadership roles, the ability to contribute individually at an exceptional level, whether through coding, system architecture design, or problem-solving in critical projects.
Strategic Vision for Engineering Practices: Ability to set and implement engineering best practices, promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement, and align the engineering team's efforts with the overall business goals.
Experience with Agile and Lean Methodologies: Proficiency in guiding teams through agile and lean startup methodologies, demonstrating flexibility and efficiency in product development and team management.
Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with other departments, including product management, marketing, and sales, ensuring the engineering team's work contributes to the company's overall success.
