Litigation Attorney with Experience

Empresa: Williams Parker
Tipo de empleo: A tiempo completo

Williams Parker law firm, the region’s largest and oldest law firm, is actively seeking a Litigation Attorney with significant trial experience to join our client-centric team and guide clients through pre-litigation, administrative proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, trial, post-trial, and the totality of the litigation process. Experience in probate litigation and complex commercial litigation is highly preferred.
Litigation is sometimes unavoidable and often quite complex. When the need for litigation arises, our clients want an experienced attorney at their side. Our litigation team includes a niche focus on estate and trust litigation, while also handling general, business, employment, real estate, construction, and bankruptcy litigation, as well as various other matters. When a lawsuit is at hand, Williams Parker’s attorneys understand what is at stake and relentlessly seek the most satisfactory outcomes for you.
Williams Parker’s litigation attorneys understand what matters to their clients. Our founder, JJ Williams Jr., famously always answered his door wearing a suit, even on the weekends. That same desire to serve our clients guides us today as much as it did in 1925. At Williams Parker, our 100-year history speaks for itself.
Position Summary
At Williams Parker, our cadre of litigation attorneys provide clients the dedication, attention and service of a boutique firm, while also affording the experience and resources of a large firm. We represent banks, trust companies, business entities, public institutions, private enterprises, charitable organizations, physicians, developers, and private individuals. From general litigation to litigation in highly specialized areas of law, Williams Parker counsels and guides clients through pre-litigation, administrative proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, trial, post-trial, and the totality of the litigation process.
Our trust and estate litigators are skilled in the unique rules and procedures that apply when estate and trust administrations are challenged and are supported by our sophisticated estate-planning department. We work with fiduciaries, beneficiaries, and other interested parties in matters involving trusts and wills, accounting actions, breach of fiduciary duty claims, reformation suits, estate and trust administration disputes, as well as other fiduciary litigation. Many involve complicated family relationships and sensitive issues. We understand the sensitive nature of these matters and work closely with our clients to navigate the practical, economic, and emotional obstacles that inevitably surface during these disputes.
This is a role that requires accuracy, efficiency, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, collegial, and high-volume environment. It requires an individual who readily adapts to changing priorities and business needs while being proactive and creative in identifying areas of need and demonstrating agility to execute action plans.
