Overview: 
We are seeking a Project Engineer/Junior Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the solar industry. As Project Engineer/Jr. Project Manager, you will assist the team in efforts to oversee the successful execution and delivery of complex projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards, timelines, and budgetary constraints. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and operations, to drive project success and achieve business objectives.
 
Responsibilities: 
 Project Planning and Execution-
Assist in developing comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements related to tool installs and infrastructure builds.
Support the coordination and planning of project activities, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer requirements.
Work with team to contribute to project progress, identification of potential risks, and implementation of mitigation strategies to ensure successful project execution.
Track project milestones and deliverables, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and ensure project requirements are met.
 Technical Expertise-
Experience installing new tools and working with OEMs and 3rd party contractors.
Possess an understanding of the solar or semiconductor industry practices, technologies, and processes.
Work closely with engineering teams to provide technical guidance and support in the execution of semiconductor projects.
Risk Management:
Identify, assess, and manage project risks, including construction/installation challenges, resource constraints, and schedule dependencies.
Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize project disruptions and ensure successful outcomes.
Proactively communicate potential risks and mitigation plans to stakeholders and leadership.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
3 - 6 years of experience in a PMO within the manufacturing, construction, solar or semiconductor industry.
Demonstrated experience related to project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Understanding of risk management principles and the ability to drive proactive risk mitigation strategies.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
Knowledge of semiconductor industry standards and regulations is a plus.
Experience with Agile methodologies is desirable.
