Our cloud-based platform connects construction businesses with skilled temporary workers, optimizing workforce management and enhancing project productivity. As we continue to revolutionize the staffing landscape, we are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Outside Sales Representative to join our team, developing a multi-channel sales plan to execute acquiring new business opportunities within the construction sector.
Responsibilities
Site Visits and Prospecting: Proactively visit construction job sites to engage with project managers, site supervisors, and key decision-makers. Build relationships and identify potential clients who can benefit from our staffing solutions. Cold calling followed by visiting prospective customers on-site, or direct visiting sites to establish new opportunities
Client Engagement: Initiate contact and cultivate strong relationships with potential clients. Utilize consultative sales techniques to understand their workforce challenges, project needs, and business goals. Showcase our Saas solution as the ultimate answer to their temporary staffing requirements.
Solution Selling: Present our Saas platform to potential clients, highlighting how it can address their staffing challenges, streamline hiring processes, and improve project outcomes. Customize presentations and demonstrations to align with specific construction project scenarios.
Sales Cycle Management: Lead the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to contract negotiation and finalization. Navigate complex purchasing decisions, objections, and client concerns while demonstrating perseverance and customer-focused strategies.
Pipeline Oversight: Maintain meticulous records of all sales activities, leads, opportunities, and communications using our CRM system (Hubspot). Regularly update sales forecasts, progress reports, and related documentation to provide insights to management.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless client experience. Attend industry events and networking opportunities to expand your connections within the construction sector.
Industry Insights: Stay informed about the latest trends, innovations, and developments within the construction staffing landscape. Leverage this knowledge to continually refine sales strategies and pitches.
Achieve Targets: Consistently surpass quarterly and annual sales targets by identifying new opportunities and closing deals that contribute to the company's expansion.
Requirements
Fearless Ability to Prospect: Demonstrated success in outside sales, ideally within the construction industry or a related field. Track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas and objectives.
Construction Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction industry operations, staffing needs, and project management processes. Familiarity with Saas solutions or workforce management platforms in the construction context is advantageous.
Hunter and Closer: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in articulating complex concepts clearly and adapting communication styles to engage diverse stakeholders.
Excellent Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish trust and rapport with potential clients. Experience in consultative and solution-oriented sales approaches.
Strong Independent Sales Personaility: Highly motivated and capable of working independently. Willingness to take ownership of the sales process and proactively identify opportunities.
Adaptability: Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Openness to change, incorporation of feedback, and iterative refinement of sales strategies.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using CRM system (Hubspot), sales tools, and software applications to manage sales activities and track pipeline progress.
On-Site Presence: Comfortable visiting construction job sites frequently within the assigned territory for client meetings and relationship building.
Travel: Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned territory as necessary for client meetings and industry events.
