Upon the relaunch of our International Division, Contract Scotland are pleased to offer various relocation opportunities in Australia. We are working in close partnership with a client as they seek experienced Civil Engineers from the UK/Scotland who are interested in joining their teams for current and future contracts in Brisbane, Queensland

With massive investment into infrastructure projects, the major projects pipeline in Queensland continues to grow and between 2022/23 and 2026/27 inclusive, the major projects pipeline is valued at a staggering $71.3bn. The project pipeline includes large infrastructure jobs such as earthworks, roads/highways, rail and bridges.

As a Site Engineer, you’ll report directly to the Project Engineer and will be actively involved in the engineering, technical and operational support within projects.

Background/experience required:

Previous experience working as a Site Engineer with a civil engineering contractor in Scotland/the UK
Previous experience on roads/infrastructure projects would be useful
Appropriate civil engineering qualification - i.e HND/C or Degree
2+ years’ practical post graduate experience
Our client’s leadership team includes people from Scotland who originally relocated to Australia over a decade ago, so they understand what is involved in relocating from the UK and are set up to support anyone making the move
