Outside Project Engineer

Millennium’s Geospatial specializes in the most advanced and reliable fiber optic cable network designs, fiber to the home designs (FTTH) designs, fiber optic engineering, and a full complement of related support. 
As an Outside Project Engineer at Millennium Geospatial, you will play a pivotal role in bringing our groundbreaking ideas to life. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and develop innovative solutions that address real-world challenges in the Broadband industry. From initial concept to final product, you will have the opportunity to make meaningful contributions and see your ideas come to fruition.
Primary Responsibilities:
Design and drafting of fiber optic cable design.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and utility maps.
Complete Utility records updates.
Update AutoCAD and GIS utility plans.
Complete permit submittals and coordination
Coordinate Utility
Complete As built and GIS Updates
Project management
Perform field walkout assignments daily over varying terrain and in all weather conditions.
Complete Utility Plan Sets.
Complete load calculation worksheets and pole/anchor/transfer activities.
Ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with customer and industry specifications.
Utilize software programs to analyze and compile collected field data.
What will make you successful:
Knowledge of FTTX.
Comprehensive knowledge of the fielding process with hands-on experience.
Knowledge of utility design requirements, materials, and plan production
Desire and ability to learn new computer software and technologies.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and prioritize tasks.
Ability to understand, read, and interpret data.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Valid Driver’s License and a good driving record
Comfort level in working with technology tools; CRM, ERP, and vendor portals
