The Project Manager will work in tandem with Project Superintendents, Engineers and the Construction Manager to ensure projects are successfully completed safely, on time and on budget. He/She will
collaborate with field supervisors on a daily basis, acting as the company’s primary point of contact when communicating, negotiating or trouble-shooting contractual, commercial or technical issues with the Owner
works closely with the Construction Manager to coordinate and develop the careers of field supervisors on their projects
write and approve purchase orders and subcontracts
develop the budget and regularly update cost and revenue projections for their projects
actively participate in means and methods, safety planning, project scheduling and budgeting in the construction and pre-construction phases
must have extensive knowledge and experience in the marine/heavy/civil construction industry.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering Technology
5+ yrs related project management experience
Experience in heavy civil, marine construction, and/or cost estimating
Must be able to qualify for a Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC)
