Production Supervisor

Job Description
Responsible for supervising the daily functions of the AR (Anti-Reflective) Department including meeting production goals, hiring and developing staff, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for associates.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
· Manages Jobs per Hour in AR room.
· Ensures older jobs are being processed in a timely manner.
· Resolves breakage issues to keep breakages low.
· Processes daily reports for the Production Manager on JPH, breakage, etc.
· Trains lead associates on ANSI standards and rejects spotting.
· Orders supplies and chemicals for the AR Department.
· Review associates’ performance through HR’s Performance Management system.
· Assists Production Manager with interviewing and selecting associates for AR department.
· Oversees and participates in associate training.
· Works with other department supervisors to resolve interdepartmental issues.
· Schedules all work and vacation time for AR department.
· Creates and maintains performance records for AR associates.
· Updates and implements department Policies and Procedures; enforces all Company Policies and Procedures.

· Requires continuous walking, standing, and moving about or continuous sitting depending on the production station.
· Continuous movement and twisting of the wrist.
· Frequently lifts, carries, or otherwise moves and positions objects weighing 0-10 lbs.
· Frequent bending and twisting of the neck and occasional bending at the waist.
· Repetitive movement of hands and fingers, which includes grasping and fine manipulation.
· Gloves must be worn during work periods.
· Protective eyewear must be worn in all manufacturing and stockroom areas.
