Transportation Project Director

Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking Transportation Project Director with TxDOT design experience, in PS&E or Schematics, for immediate employment in the San Antonio office.
Job Description
As Project Manager, manage all aspects of Schematic or PS&E plan preparation for roadway projects in accordance with TxDOT procedures.
Manage a support Team of engineers and technicians, some located remotely.
Determine work priorities based on general direction from supervisor.
Provide leadership for Team through knowledge in areas of specialization, coordinating work of others.
May lead on one or more Teams in the delivery of work efforts that are often complex.
Be involved in all project aspects from client meetings, design/study development.
Serve as Capture or Project Manager for key pursuits
Obtain AECOM project Manager certification
Other responsibilities are: 
Responsible for the overall administration of the project and assist with establishing project objectives and policies.
Provides management and guidance to subordinate staff, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface.
Oversees and ensures all facets of the project are in accordance with design, budget and schedule.
Responsible for administering the project from budgeting/schedule stage through procurement and contract closeout.
