We are looking for an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to join our growing team at BW Energy to undertake a variety of legal and administrative tasks. You will provide support services to attorneys and paralegals on a variety of tasks and use your expertise on iManage to maximize value and facilitate usage by the rest of the legal team of the document management system. Responsibilities
The successful applicant will:
Have experience as a “power user” of iManage and SharePoint to provide information-management support and guidance to the legal team
Produce information and documents by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data and graphics
Read, research, review, verify correspondence, reports and legal documents
Prepare quarterly reports based on information provided by outside counsel regarding paid and unpaid invoices and tracking of budget and accounts
Prepare expense reports, arrange travel, monitor travel and handle other administrative needs.
Develop and maintain filing and retrieval systems, as well as digital archive systems
Recommend software, systems or processes that may benefit the legal team and assist with design and implementation
Assist with special projects
Requirements
Education / Qualifications
·         Associate Degree or equivalent and 5+ years of legal experience; or
·         High school diploma and 15+ years of legal experience
Country Requirements / Language
·         Eligible to work in the United States
·         Fluent business and legal English (oral and written)
·         Portuguese, Spanish, or French a plus
Experience / Work Skills
·         Strong iManage and SharePoint expertise and previous experience as a "power user" or iManage
·         Ability to create and modify documents in Microsoft 365 suite of programs and Kofax/Adobe
·         Quick typing skills
·         Familiarity with oil and gas industry not required but is a plus
·         Excellent time management and organizational skills
·         Strong verbal and written communication skills
·         Ability to work with minimal supervision and to act with integrity and discretion

·         Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment with a “roll up your sleeves” attitude
·         Team-oriented mentality, and a good sense of humor
