Our Ohio facility is a beacon of innovation and excellence, and we are searching for a dedicated Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Engineer to enhance our dynamic team. This position offers the chance to shape safety protocols and environmental strategies, ensuring we lead the industry not just in innovation, but in workplace safety and sustainability.
Your Impact:
Develop and execute EHS programs, aligning with our goal of achieving World Class EHS Performance.
Ensure adherence to all regulatory and company safety standards and policies.
Lead initiatives in areas such as hazard communication, emergency response, and sustainability efforts.
Drive continuous improvement by conducting thorough investigations and analyses to prevent future incidents.
Engage in comprehensive compliance reporting to various stakeholders, including federal and state entities.
Requirements
What We Need from You:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety Management, Environmental Management, or a related field.
At least three years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
A deep understanding of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and other regulatory requirements.
Ability to support a three-shift, 24/7 manufacturing operation.
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar.
Experience with EHS management systems such as ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
Previous participation in OSHA’s Voluntary Protection Program (VPP).
Benefits
Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 plus a $10,000 bonus
