Applications Engineer

Teguar Corporation is expanding, and we are currently looking for an Applications Engineer to join our Product Management team.

Product Managers and Sales Account Managers who have years of industry experience.   You will work in partnership with them on current projects to provide support to customers and for internal documentation of technical requirements.  
A combination of both domestic and international customers and vendors who are leaders in medical technology and innovation.

You will have great impact on our medical industry clients who are involved in solving healthcare problems with new and innovative technology.   You will also have great impact on our Industrial clients who are looking for custom-fit computer products in integrate into the solution and drive their productivity.  
Your main responsibility…
You will be Teguar’s technical expert for Engineering Change Notifications, Regulatory Compliance, and Product Verification and Validation testing in both pre and post sales environments.   You will understand what the customer requirements are, troubleshoot customer use cases and relay the results to others, execute testing and provide data to prove our computers meet those requirements.

What you need to be successful in this role…
You will need to be a big picture thinker.  You must pay attention to details, but not get lost in them.  Be able to understand the customer application and how small decisions will impact the end user.  You will be a voice for the customer when working with a team to design solutions.   You need to be comfortable reviewing work from others and looking for potential errors or lapses and working to correct them prior to presenting to customers. 
 This role is not for you if…
You think all the answers the customer needs are in the user manual.  You must understand how to take basic technical knowledge and apply it to unique and challenging environments where there is not a clear answer.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Engineering from four-year college or university and 2 years related experience and/or training; or a minimum of 4 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
