Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. is seeking a self-motivated and resourceful Program Manager to oversee and manage their own Department of Energy contracts, including staff augmentation contracts. Working with a Senior Program Manager mentor,  you will have a critical responsibility in evaluating candidate resumes, ensuring timely employee payments, interact with clients when needed, and approving travel reimbursements to support the successful execution of these contracts. This position offers a unique opportunity to take ownership of contract management while contributing to our mission of advancing energy and environmental solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee Department of Energy contracts, including staff augmentation agreements, to ensure successful execution.
Review and evaluate candidate resumes to match them with client requirements.
Monitor and facilitate timely payment processing for employees.
Approve travel reimbursements for approved travel-related expenses.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure contract objectives are met.
Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to facilitate the seamless execution of contracts.
Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, reports, and status updates.
Participate in meetings and presentations to keep clients and stakeholders informed about contract status.
Track and manage  project budgets, costs, invoicing and provide financial reporting.
Assist in the development of project proposals and business development activities.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, project management, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on Department of Energy contracts, staff augmentation, or similar roles.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Experience managing programs that require D&D and Waste Management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong team-oriented approach.
Familiarity with DOE regulations and contract management is a plus.
US citizenship or permanent residency is required for access to DOE facilities.
 
Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.
