Job Description:
A-Tech is looking for a Senior Engineer/ Geologist/ Scientist to join our team of highly talented and motivated individuals. The right candidate must possess the ability to follow instructions well, work independently, prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines and be a leader amongst your peers. Are you that person?
Job Duties:
The essential functions include, but not limited to the following:
Work under Director of Environmental Health and Safety to develop, coordinate, and complete engineering project assignments.
Develop and execute the projects with multiple project staff, overseeing the technical work performed. Effectively delegate technical assignments to engineers/geologists/scientists of skill to perform the work.
Responsible for project functions included but not limited to Project Management, Site Management, Project Control Management, Engineering Management, etc. are all coordinated and properly staffed to meet the project(s) goals.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting standards are maintained throughout the project(s).
Communicate project status with relevant departments and with clients, as necessary.
Ensure safety and QA/QC programs are established by all parties and maintained and conduct reviews of detailed design drawing and specifications.
Monitor engineering progress against budget and forecasted schedule.
Prepare project estimates, budget, schedules, and execution plans.
Prepare and submit reports on the progress and status of the project.
Prepare scope of works, proposals, and responses to RFPs/RFQs.
Supervise and train the field personnel to ensure job tasks are conducted according to the work plan.
Conduct review of the staff reports before submission to the Director for final review.
Develop the departments’ understanding on industry’s latest news and job opportunities.
Review Health and Safety Plans for implementation on field.
Perform other project engineering and project management related duties, as required.

Salary: $95,000.00 - $(phone number removed) per year
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related fields
Must have HAZWOPER 40 certification
Must have a PE or PG certification
7+ years of experience in industry-related work
Project Management Experience required
Other Requirements:
Ability to travel throughout California, and outside the state (Texas, New Mexico, etc.)
