Traffic Engineer

Hire Resolve’s client is a leading Civil Engineering firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a Traffic Engineer in Manhattan, NY.
Responsibilities:
Conduct traffic analysis using Synchro.
Analyze crash data.
Perform data collection.
Write technical reports in Word.
Perform qualitative analyses in Excel.
Develop Maintenance and Protection of Traffic plans
Requirements
Bachelor’s and/or Masters’ degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning or related field.
1 to 4 years of traffic engineering/transportation planning work experience in the US.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Open Roads (Microstation).
Proficiency in Excel and Word.
Experience reading/using technical drawings.
Experience preparing traffic impact studies (including SYNCHRO analysis).
Knowledge of the AASHTO Highway Safety Manual.
Knowledge of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD).
Willingness to work collectively as part of a team.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Effective time management.
