SCSHP  is looking for a VP, Social who is a passionate social media user who’s culturally and trend-curious, with experience leading and developing our Content and Community capability.
You will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of all social communication and branding initiatives for our client(s) including influencer marketing. You will play a critical role in client(s) social strategy, and communications planning, driving brand awareness, engagement, and brand affinity across all social platforms and connected executions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating inspiring content, an understanding of social media trends/algorithms, experience managing a variety of social expertise—social strategists, community managers, creators, and influencer marketing specialists, amongst others—and business acumen to run a successful business unit.
As VP, Social, you’ll play a key role in leading the discipline and craft development in partnership with our Head of Brand. You will often work as an extension of the creative team where you can support and sell unique socially-driven ideas.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and set the standard for the creation and production of dynamic social media content, including copy, graphics, and video
Develop a future-proofed, best-in-class approach to Creator and Influencer Marketing both internally and through external partners
Develop and implement innovative and exciting social media and content strategies that captivate audiences and drive engagement for our clients
Stay ahead of the curve with social media trends, emerging platforms, and algorithm changes to ensure maximum reach and impact
Collaborate with our creative, account, and strategy teams to develop truly integrated campaigns that cut through the noise and deliver results
Inspire and motivate a team of social media and content creators to produce their best work, providing guidance, feedback, and support every step of the way
Analyze and report on social media metrics to optimize campaigns and deliver actionable and insightful results for clients
Work closely with clients to manage their social media presence and build strong, lasting relationships that drive continued business success and community health
Foster partnerships with Creator partners, influencers, thought leaders, and other key players in the social media and content space to expand our capability and drive impact
Requirements
10+ years of experience in social media and content creation, with a strong range of work that showcases your creative ingenuity and innovative approach
Based in Detriot or willing to relocate to Detriot 
Experience in managing a team of creators or a Content Studio
Experience managing and inspiring a team to produce their best work
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Experience in hands-on creation of social content and community management
Deep knowledge of social media platforms and their best practices, including Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube and Meta
Ability to analyze social media metrics and translate data into actionable insights
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop comprehensive narratives that align with the client goals and audience desires
Passion for innovation, creativity, and staying ahead of the curve in social media and content trends and emerging platforms
Strong attention to detail and ability to think outside the box to deliver exceptional results
