As a Domestic Logistics Planner, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and overseeing the transportation of goods within the country, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
What you’ll be doing:
Coordinating and monitoring the transportation of goods within the country.
Liaising with carriers, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
Tracking shipments and updating stakeholders on the status of deliveries.
Managing transportation costs and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
Resolving any issues or delays in transportation and implement corrective actions.
Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Maintaining accurate records of shipments, invoices, and other relevant documentation.
Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
Collaborating with other departments to optimize logistics processes.
