As part of our Materials Science and Formulation Modeling (MSFM) team, you'll work closely with local and global teams in Small Molecule Drug Product Development. MSFM team supports formulation and process development through the early to late phase with material characterization, scientific understanding, and predictive modeling. As part of your role, you will routinely apply thermodynamic modeling to support formulation and process development.
 
 
Your tasks and responsibilities:
 
 
Rigorously develop and apply thermodynamic models to support the design and development of different dosage forms of pharmaceutical formulations to meet desired performance attributes.
Support the key areas of formulation manufacturing, dissolution, and stability with thermodynamic modeling.
Work closely with scientists in the lab to test and validate modeling results.
Work with other modeling teams to advance thermodynamic modeling across AbbVie.
