CASE is looking for a highly motivated, results-oriented Accounting/Finance Manager to join our growing company.
The Accounting/Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting and finance functions including
the monthly accounting close, payroll, and government contracting compliance.
This role will oversee the growing accounting team and report directly to the CFO.
Core Work Activities
Manage all accounting functions including, but not limited to:
Produce timely and accurate monthly financial reporting deliverables in accordance with GAAP and
government regulations.
Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable to ensure DSO/DPO goals are met.
Oversee the payroll function including the review of monthly payroll.
Lead the treasury function including cash management and oversight of the corporate credit card
program.
Ensure all financial systems operate efficiently and with proper controls.
Lead the accounting and finance team by providing direction, guidance, and overall support to team members.
Foster a strong financial and operational control environment to safeguard assets and generate repeatable and
reliable financial statements.
Support business operations as the subject matter expert on DCAA compliance, indirect rate structures, cost
proposals, cost impact analyses, and cost allocation methodologies.
Assist with financial planning including the annual budgeting process, investor reporting, and management of
corporate performance metrics.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax agencies. Interface with external tax professionals.
Liaise with external auditors to complete the annual financial statement audit including the preparation of PBC
documents and management of auditor fieldwork.
Support the CFO and other executives with non-standard reporting and ad-hoc projects.

Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field required.
8+ years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a government contracting environment.
Thorough understanding of government regulations, including FAR, DCAA, and Cost Accounting Standards
(CAS).
Proficiency in accounting software; experience with Unanet or Deltek Costpoint a plus.
Advanced Excel user with experience using pivot tables and complex formulas.
Experience with multiple types of contracts including FFP and T&M.
CPA or CMA a plus.
At present, this role is largely remote, but that will change in the future. Candidate must be local to Northern
Virginia and able to regularly meet in-person.
