Ho'okele Home Care is a leading provider of in-home care services and proud recipient of the Home Care Pulse Award for Employer of Choice for the second year in a row. We are currently have (2) two openings for awesome Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) or Nursing Assistants (NA) to join our AMAZING team of Vivia Caregivers. In this role, you will be assigned to a team and provide one-on-one care to the clients in your assigned "neighborhood", helping them maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life. We assign you a consistent schedule, allowing you to plan your life outside of work, and we provide a company car to ensure that you can easily travel to and from your clients' homes. The 2 current open positions require at least one weekend day.
Our Vivia Assistants are CNAs and NAs who:
Earn $22 PER HOUR*
Work FULL TIME positions
Work 40 HOURS weekly
Have STEADY SCHEDULES
Receive a COMPANY CAR
Work DESIGNATED NEIGHBORHOOD(S)
Work with a CONSISTENT GROUP OF CLIENTS
WORK CLOSELY and are SUPPORTED by a designated RN team leader and scheduler.
Receive a SIGNING BONUS.
*Vivia Assistants earn $21/hour during the 90 day probationary period during which orientation and on the job training takes place and then increases to $22/hour after successful completion of that probationary period.
Except during some holidays
Responsibilities May Include:
Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
Provide medication reminders and monitor vital signs
Document and report any changes in clients' condition to the care team
Assist clients with meal planning, preparation, and feeding, according to their dietary needs and preferences
Help clients with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment
Requirements
Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Nursing Assistant (NA)
Current Valid Driver's License and current, clean Drivers abstract
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks, and provide excellent customer service.
Basic CPR and First-Aid Certification (No Online CPR)
Health Clearance / Physical Exam (within a year)
Proof of 2-Step and current TB Clearance (within a year)
COVID vaccinated (unless medical or religious exemption)
Comfortable with technology
Smartphone
High School Diploma or equivalent
