Enterprise Systems Specialist

Position Summary:
This is a highly visible role that ensures that enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, payroll/HRIS, time and attendance, asset management, job costing) are meeting business needs.  It requires someone that can wear many hats:  analyst, developer, data wrangler, and all-around problem solver.   A blend of technical, financial and strong communication skills will be necessary to complete tasks and interact with staff across a geographically dispersed organization. This role requires using effective communication to work closely with employees in the business. Candidates should be effective at multi-tasking and prioritizing their activities.
Overall Responsibilities
Support
Respond to, prioritize, and resolve various end user submitted requests with a strong sense of urgency due to the critical nature of our financial systems
Monitor various systems/integrations, resolve issues, and reconciling differences
Collaborate and work closely with end users, business stakeholders, and other IT staff to solve complex problems. 
Administer
Ensure end users have appropriate security access and roles
Track planned system upgrades and develop an approach to test and implement changes
Ensure data integrity within systems, integrations, and reports
Assist in audits of existing IT controls in our financial systems
Build, Enhance, and Automate
Design, test, and implement system improvements, reports, and integration data flows
Maintain documentation related to the systems including administrative procedures, configurations, and end user guides
Assist in researching and evaluating new solutions
Empower
Train new and existing end users on system capabilities
Facilitate organizational change assisting with the adoption of new processes.
Advertise the capabilities of our systems to the business conveying an understanding of why these systems
Our Technologies and Tools
Cloud-based enterprise systems including NetSuite (ERP), NetSuite (NSPB), UKG (HR/payroll), Concur (T&E), Asset Insider (CAPEX) and Aspire (CRM and job costing). Use the tools within these systems to maintain and administer:
User access and security
Business automations and workflows
Role-based dashboards
Searches, reports, and analytics
Integration management and orchestration using cloud-based systems such as Informatica, Microsoft Power Automate, and Microsoft Azure Data Factory. Connect and transfer data to/from systems using the most effective technique available such as:
Export/Import automation
Web services (i.e., SOAP, REST)
No-code and low-code application development using Microsoft’s cloud-based Power Platform and Excel
Data warehouse built on Microsoft Azure SQL
Business Intelligence reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI and Cognos
Myriad of Excel spreadsheets that pull data from the above solutions
Requirements
Experience in finance or accounting is desired
Customer Service Skills, including proactive communication and documentation
Ability to foster a consistent integrative and cohesive system approach to support geographically dispersed end users
Strong curiosity to delve into root cause analysis with ability to conceive and implement effective process improvements/solutions
Ability to work independently as well as be part of a small, focused team   
Manage multiple, simultaneous projects and tasks
Understanding of databases, data integration, imports, exports (i.e., SQL, Excel)
Proficient in reporting across multiple platforms and systems
Familiar with more advanced features in Excel (External Data, Macros, Pivot Tables)
