Starting annual starting range is $70,661 to $81,260 
5-day work week – Monday to Friday – Available 8 am to 5 pm

General Description of Duties:
As an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer at Salud, you will perform obstetrical exams to confirm fetal viability, evaluate fetal anatomy, multiple pregnancies, evaluate the placenta, amniotic fluid, umbilical cord, etc.
You will also perform gynecological ultrasound exams to evaluate pelvic anatomy, ovarian pathology, and uterine anomalies as well as abdominal ultrasound exams to evaluate the liver, gallbladder, kidneys, pancreas, and spleen for pathology.  At Salud, our Ultrasound Technicians approach their tasks in a team-based care fashion that supports patients and their families in self-management, self-efficacy, and behavior change while adhering to the spirit of the SALUD mission statement while performing assigned duties.
Supervision Received:
Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer works under the Direction of Medical Services and local leadership
Specific Duties:
Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer performs the ultrasound study with a professional technique
Works in conjunction with all Medical Providers, Dental Providers, Behavioral Health Providers, and all other staff to ensure that the patients obtain the highest standards of integrated healthcare
Provides services appropriate to the age-specific needs of all patients in accordance with the principles of growth and development for infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric life cycles
The Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer acts as a patient advocate for our vulnerable population by ensuring that the patient is fully informed and comfortable with their visit to SALUD
Prepares hard copies and calculates ratios and dates for radiologists to read
Returns completed report to referring medical provider
Files copies of all reports alphabetically
Follows procedures for the electronic health records system
Sets appointments for equipment maintenance and quality control
Responsible for procedure manual for training qualified individuals to perform adequate sonographic studies
