International Account Manager

Fellow is searching for an International Account Manager to work on the International Wholesale team led by the Head of International Sales. International sales equate to over 40% of Fellows wholesale business. Fellow currently sells to businesses in over 40 countries and continues to expand our global footprint. You will be responsible for account management, channel sales strategy, outbound hunting, and customer relationship development in Asia-Pacific. We deliver high-end coffee equipment for the worlds best baristas and home enthusiasts.We are a small but fast-growing company. In addition to our e-commerce site and flagship retail store in the Mission District of San Francisco, you can find our products in Crate & Barrel, Williams Sonoma, West Elm, Amazon, and distributed internationally.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A REMOTE ROLE DURING COVID BUT WE ARE LOOKING FOR LOCAL CANDIDATES. This role will be based in San Francisco, CA.
Role Responsibilities:
Account Management:
* Generate sales, process orders, and grow business with your existing accounts
* Build a pipeline of business to deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual goals
* Develop annual and quarterly forecasts to support your book of business
* Deliver exceptional customer service and operational support to set up future success
Build channel strategy:
* Work in conjunction with the Head of International Sales to research and develop a strategy to grow distribution, retail, and hospitality opportunities into big businesses for Fellow
* Define your specific customer targets by channel and develop plans to operationalize
* Work with marketing to build sales materials and content for customers
* Collaborate with sales team on new product launches
Outbound Hunting:
* Prospect and screen new leads to ensure a fit with the Fellow brand
* Log your opportunities and create a network of prospective customers in Fellow CRM system
* Pitch opportunities to the team and get approval and run with it
* Work to close the sale and provide exceptional customer service and operational support to build lasting business partnerships
Customer Relationship Development:
* Work cross-functionally with internal teams at Fellow to go the extra mile for your customers
* Arrange calls or video conferences with customers to host business reviews and ensure future alignment
* Attend future international trade shows to interface with current and prospective clients (Post-COVID)
Requirements
Required Skills
* 4+ years of experience in sales, account management, customer interfacing, and working with physical products (International Sales experience in Asia-Pacific is a plus)
* Strong organizational and communication skills
* Proficient with CRM, Excel, Slides, and G Suite
* Prior experience at a start-up is a plus
* Enthusiasm for the coffee industry / willingness to learn more about coffee
