Courier Driver

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Gi Group and work with one of our well-known National Clients based at Park Camp Road, Lincoln, LN6 9BJ.
You will be responsible for the daily delivery and collection of shipments to and from their customers, enhancing the customer experience at every stage.

This Courier role is key to ensuring that our Clients principles and ethos are being demonstrated at all times, ensuring that the service provided to it's customers is delivered with speed, passion and a can-do attitude. You will be expected to achieve excellent customer service which requires flexibility, the ability to work under pressure and establish new relationships quickly and effectively.

Driver Specific Role Challenges:

* Meeting deadlines/working to tight timescales
* Physical demands -Be physically able to handle shipments while correctly following manual handling
processes
* To project a high quality image of our Client both internally and externally and provide the highest quality
service to it's customers at all times
* Demonstrate the ability to think fast and solve problems without negatively impacting it's customers
or the business
* Ability to identify and report through the correct channels any sales/development opportunities

Driver Skills/Capabilities needed for this role:

* Excellent written and verbal communications skills
* Strong geographical knowledge and route planning skills
* Knowledge and understanding of Dangerous Goods (preferred)
* Able to undertake physical demands of the role

Driver Education/Qualifications:

* Full UK driving license [Cat B] is required

Driver Experience:

* Experience in a multi drop courier role advantageous
* Experience in a frontline, customer facing role
* Professional driving experience (preferred)

Driver Remuneration:

* £13.42 per hour
* Weekly pay
* 40 hours per week
* Monday to Friday
