Research Assistant (Psychology) Full Time / Non Exempt

To provide quality psychological services to adult, adolescent and child psychiatric patient population (age range approximately 5 and up) and their families, spouse, significant other; to serve as a member of interdisciplinary team supporting the organization's treatment program and philosophy and assure the deliverance of quality treatment to psychiatric patients and their families.
Available shifts :
Monday to Friday ( 7:30 am - 4:00 pm)
Monday to Friday ( 8:00 am - 4:30 pm)
Hourly Pay : from $22/hour yo $24/hour
Responsibilities:
Collects data and information on testing from all therapists as soon as possible after discharge and inputs into the SPPS package
Ensures all data sets are complete before entry into the SPSS package
Is proficient in the statistical analysis of all data and can represent data to supervisor in tabular and graph formats
Follows up with all discharged patients in accordance with the data set requirements (e.g. 6 months, 1 year, and 2 year) and is able to give the correct measures
Conducts psychological testing including administration, scoring and comprehensive report writing by assessing the patient and consulting with collateral sources, the treatment team, and review of the medical chart
Files and stores all confidential information and data in accordance with company policies and procedures and within APA guidelines for data storage
Reports to community/state agencies any patient issues required and represents facility in any legal proceedings
Complies with facility safety, infection control and security program
Participates in activities, which enhance professional growth and development
Supports facility internal and external customer service standards
Skills:
Excellent written and oral communications skills, skills in psychotherapy, time management, and crisis intervention common to acute psychotic as well as to non-violent crises intervention practice
Knowledge of acute adult psychological disorders; advanced principals of clinical psychology as specifically applied to adults, children, and adolescents; skills in conducting marital and family group therapy
Skills in maintaining information as highly confidential; must demonstrate the ability to treat other age populations as needed or have the capacity to develop skills through the organization's cross-training, orientation program
In the absence of these qualifications upon hire, must demonstrate ability to learn these concepts and develop these skills within reasonable time frame
Ability to clearly summarize pertinent clinical information via written correspondence and medical records documentation
Requirements
Doctoral degree in Clinical or Health Psychology,  or equivalent  doctoral degree in a recognized mental health field
Experience in inpatient setting preferred
