We are seeking a meticulous and versatile Accounting Manager to join our team. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for managing our accounting and compliance functions, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial records, and streamlining our financial processes. You will collaborate with a Bookkeeper and manage an Accounting Administrator. The ideal candidate possesses proficiency in accounting systems and processes, strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
This position is part-time (20-30 hours per week) and hybrid (1-2 days in-office per week, remote rest of week). You would be joining the company at an exciting time of growth, as well as a dedicated and hardworking team. Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations.
Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Work with Bookkeeper on monthly reconciliation of financial books.
Ensure accuracy of sales & financial data in NetSuite.
Develop and maintain efficient and accurate reporting systems.
Manage tax filings and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Handle accounting-related correspondence and manage accounting emails.
Create and implement efficient processes to enhance the accounting function.
Communicate financial insights and updates effectively across various stakeholders and team members.
Manage and oversee the duties of the Accounting Administrator.
Requirements
Proficiency with accounting software (NetSuite knowledge preferred).
Proficiency with Excel and spreadsheet programs.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving and execution skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Fast learner & adaptable.
