Position Overview:
The Finance Director will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and ensuring the financial health of the company. This position involves overseeing all financial activities, providing strategic recommendations, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial management, a strong analytical mindset, and a proven track record of driving financial performance.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth objectives
Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team and board of directors
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
Manage the preparation of financial statements and reports
Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to drive decision-making
Oversee cash flow management and capital allocation
Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions
Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Identify and mitigate financial risks
Monitor industry trends and economic conditions to inform financial planning
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Masters degree or CPA preferred)
8+ years of experience in finance management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role
Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and best practices
Proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
