Our client is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join their team on a contract basis in Middletown, RI. As a CNA, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of healthcare settings, providing vital support to patients and assisting them with daily tasks. Responsibilities:
Provide personal care and assistance to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Assist with daily activities such as eating, walking, and toileting
Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff
Document patient care and observations accurately and in a timely manner
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Adhere to all healthcare policies, procedures, and regulations
Requirements
Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Minimum of 1 year experience as a CNA in a healthcare setting
Current CPR certification
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compassionate and patient-focused attitude
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
Benefits
40 hours per week, with potential for extension
