At the beginning of 2020, in-person events were shut down and RTM was one of very few companies that was able to successfully pivot into a virtual offering providing tangible value for our clients. As a result, we experienced record-breaking revenue growth in 2021 and 2022, and are excited to continue that growth into 2023.

About the Role
RTM is looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our team! Your day-to-day work will be in invoicing and receivables but you will also assist with payables and other finance duties from time to time. The ideal candidate is excited by a client-facing role and demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills with a high level of professionalism. You will report to our Accounting Manager. We offer extensive, ongoing training and a unique opportunity for both collaborative and independent work.
This role is hybrid in NY, NJ and CT with 1 day a week in the office.
Create invoices based on client contracts. Previous experience generating invoices from contracts or insertion orders is helpful but not required.
Manage collections for our mid-sized and smaller clients.
Accurately apply received payments in QuickBooks Online
Generate and circulate weekly receivables reports
Generate and circulate a weekly cash receipts report.
Manage the registration process for client payables management applications such as SAP
Submit invoices to client management applications where required
From time-to-time assist with payables entry on (url removed)
From time-to-time assist with commission entry on our commission management system
Assist our accounting manager with special reports and projects as required.
Assist accounting manager with monthly close
Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree
At least 5 years of experience in the accounting department of a for-profit company with at least 2 years experience in invoicing / receivables
QuickBooks Online (required)
Professional & interpersonal communication skills
Balance and prioritize multiple deadlines at once
